Yang Ming to add New service
YANG Ming Marine Transport is to provide a new Southeast Asia-Australia service, dubbed AAA, which will expand the Taiwan-based carrier’s port coverage in Australia to Fremantle.
According to MANA, The service, effective from April 24, will be carried out via a slot exchange co-operation using eight boxships of between 4,253 teu and 5,888 teu operated by Orient Overseas Container Line, Pacific International Lines, Cosco Shipping Lines and CMA CGM.
Port rotation is: Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Klang, Fremantle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, Singapore and Laem Chabang.
In addition to the upcoming AAA service, Yang Ming provides two loops that cover Far East-Australia market
One is the CAT service, with a port rotation of Ningbo, Shanghai, Shekou, Kaohsiung, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Kaohsiung and Ningbo.
The other is the NAX service, whose rotation is Yokohama, Osaka, Pusan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Yokohama.
