According to MANA, Singapore’s liquefied natural gas terminal is on track to complete its expansion with the addition of a fourth storage tank by 2018, the minister for trade and industry S Iswaran said at an industry event on Tuesday.
He said this business would be facilitated by the fourth LNG storage tank at SLNG, which would increase storage capacity by 260,000 cu m to 800,000 cu m.
SLNG also intends to commission a nitrogen blending facility this year, which will enable Singapore to accept a wider range of cargoes with varying LNG specifications.
