According to MANA ,Oil was spotted by a coast guard boat around the 6,700–dwt Sagan(built 1999) on the shore of Suwanose Island in Kagoshima, the Japan Times said.
The vessel got stuck on Saturday, but no injuries were reported.
All 18 crew, including 17 Myanmarese and a Taiwanese, were taken off the ship by helicopter.
The tanker is managed by Ocean Grow international Shipmanagement of Taiwan.
