Crew of Six Missing Off Alaska
An all-night search was underway in the Pribilof Islands on February 11 for a 98-foot fishing vessel that issued a radio beacon alert, U.S.Coast Guard officials said.
According to MANA, olunteers and U.S. Coast Guard cutter, plane and helicopter crews are searching for the crew of the fishing vessel Destination in the Bering Sea northwest of St. George, Alaska.
The locator beacon was sent from approximately two miles northwest of St. George, a press release from U.S. Coast Guard 17th District Alaska stated.
