Hanjin Shipping vessels have berthed at PSA Singapore
Some 14 stranded Hanjin Shipping vessels have now berthed in Singapore with another due to come into port today.
According to an FAQ posted by terminal operator PSA on its website its has released over 3,000 containers to shippers from the Hanjin vessels that have so far called at the port, MANA correspondent reported.
Shippers with local import containers have to pay PSA a SGD5,000 ($3,637) deposit on the container which is refunded on return of the box.
PSA using container yard space to store empty Hanjin containers and has over 3,500 so far.
