It is scheduled to begin a 10-year vessel-sharing agreement from next April.
The first member of The Alliance to comment on how Hanjin’s turmoil will affect the future agreement, NYK, told Lloyd’s List in an email: “The impact on The Alliance is limited as the new alliance is due to start operations only next April.”
Hapag-Lloyd issued the same statement a little later.
