Maritime City will be Built in Qeshm
In order to establishment of all active maritime industry in the south of Iran, the design of building a maritime city in Qeshm has been approved by Qeshm Trade-Industrial Free Zone Organization.
In an interview with MANA reporter, the Social , Cultural and Tourism Deputy of Qeshm Trade-Industrial Free Zone Organization asserted: given that Iran enjoys a large portion of seas and coasts, we should make the best out of these potentials to promote sustainable economic development.Farzin Haghdel further stated: Qeshm Trade-Industrial Free Zone Organization has placed development through sea on its agenda.
According to him, the development of fisheries and Aquaculture through Farming Fish in Cages is one of the most paramount purpose of this organization.
This official figure remarked: in the light of plans, 8% of macro-policies of fisheries organization for Farming Fish in Cages will be conducted by the investment of the private sector.
Haghdel emphasized: the development of fisheries could make a serious contribution to promote economy of Qeshm Island.
the Social, Cultural and Tourism Deputy of Qeshm Trade-Industrial Free Zone Organization proposed: currently ,shipbuilding industry and large maritime repairs companies are active in different parts of South of Iran, hence, with the establishment of a maritime city in Qeshm we would be witness a remarkable growth in the maritime industry, he continued.
