The U.S. Coast Guard is working to determine why an oil tanker hit three moored sailboats in a river on the Maine-New Hampshire border.

Tanker hits three yachts in the USAccording to MANA,The collision happened Wednesday at the mouth of the Piscataqua River near Kittery, Maine, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Officials say the 477-foot Chem Venus tanker was carrying a load of used vegetable oil and a variety of other industrial chemicals.
No injuries or pollution have been reported. No one was aboard the sailboats at the time.
The sailboats were also damaged, but remained afloat.
