The Capacity of Exporting Goods to be Increased from Bushehr Port

The director of Bushehr Province Ports and Maritime Organization stated: with the completion of Export Terminal Project in Bushehr Port, the capacity of embarkation and disembarkation of goods in this port is speculated to rise over 1 million ton in a year.

The Capacity of Exporting Goods to be Increased from Bushehr PortReferring to that port projects in Bushehr are advancing at a desirable rate, Mohammad Mehdi Benchari stated to MANA reporter that the first phase of Bushehr Port Developmental Plan in Negin Island draws a 5-year horizon, which includes four Dock Posts.
Pointing out to the building container dock in Negin Island of Bushehr Port, he added: the construction of two Dock Posts of container with a length of 600m and area of 30 hectares, the construction of one multi-purpose Dock Post with a length of 300 m and area of 16 hectares, the construction of a Oil Dock Post with a length of 220 m and area of 5 hectares ,have been speculated in Negin Island.
The director of Bushehr Province Ports and Maritime Organization asserted: in the second phase of Bushehr Port Developmental Plan in Negin Island which draws a 15-year horizon, it has stipulated that the other zones and hinterland in container ,oil, multi-purposed docks and industrial sector to be constructed.
Making a reference to the Export Terminal Project in Bushehr Port , Benchari remarked: along side with the Negin Island development plan ,this terminal in the area of 5 hectares is under construction, which is potential to be expanded to 11 hectares, he added.

The director of Bushehr Province Ports and Maritime Organization continued: with the cooperation of the private sector, 190 billion Rials funds has been considered for constructing Export Terminal in Bushehr Port.
Referring to the Export Terminal with a length of 500 m in Bushehr ,Benchari added: this terminal includes two Dock Posts for small vessels and two Dock Posts for large vessels which is speculated to be launched in the first half of the next year.
