Maersk Line pens deal to transport Rusal cargoes

Maersk Line and Russian aluminium producer Rusal have penned an agreement for the cargo transportation of the latter’s products particularly aluminium and alloys.

Maersk Line pens deal to transport Rusal cargoesAccording to MANA,,The estimated cargo volume of the agreement may reach 10,000 teu per year, and the cooperation is valid for three years including options for further extension.
“The signing of this agreement is a confirmation of the mutual intentions to build a long term strategic partnership between Rusal and Maersk Line. The aim of the agreement is the joint search for the most optimal logistic solutions aimed at optimising costs for both parties,” said Vladislav Soloviev, ceo of Rusal.
Soren Skou, ceo of Maersk Liner Business, said: “Our agreement with Rusal includes three of our brands, Seago Line, MCC and Maersk Line. It is therefore also a testimony of our global reach as well as our regional expertise.”
