A 95-Percent Increase in Exports of Non-Petroleum Goods

The director of Hormozgan Province‘s Port and Maritime Organization announced that Shahid Rajaeei Port has witnessed the embarkation and disembarkation of 13 million tons of different types of goods and as well as 35-percent rise in the transportation operations of commercial commodities in the two first months of this year.

 A 95-Percent Increase in Exports of Non-Petroleum Goods   Referring to the performance of Shahid rajaee port special economic zone from Early April to late May 2016, Ebrahim Idani stated: in the mentioned period, approximately 12.944.591 tons of Petroleum and Non-petroleum goods have been embarked and disembarked in the largest Iranian Commercial Port. Of the total, he added, 7.990.591 and 4.954.162 tons are related to Non-Petroleum and Petroleum goods ,respectively.
The director of Hormozgan Province‘s Port and Maritime counted 5.574.038 tons as the exported Non-Petroleum goods,which this figure highlights a 95-percent ascent compared to the similar period in the last year.
Idani further stated: the total volumes of transited goods from Shahid Rajaeei Port reached 732.985 tons in the first two months, in this sector, he added, a 16-percent rise has been registered in comparison with the same period in the last year.
65-Percent Rise in the Export of Petroleum Goods
The director of Shahid rajaee port special economic announced the 65-percent rise in the export of Petroleum Goods From Shahid rajaee port and added,1.456.429 tons of Petroleum goods have been exported from this port abroad.
20-Percent Rise in Container Transport
The director of Hormozgan Province‘s Port and Maritime Organization announced that the embarkation and disembarkation of 303.399 TEU containers have taken placed in the Iranian most advanced port in the first two months of this year. this figure, he added, depicts a 20-percent rise in disembarkation and disembarkation operations.
Stating that 674 vessels have been docked at Shahid rajaee port with various tonnages, Idani remarked, this figure indicates a 10-percent increase in comparison with the same period in the last year.
