Maritime Training re-started at post-JCPOA era

With the execution of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and after five-years gap, 97 students were admitted at Imam Khomeini college for studying in sailing major.

Maritime Training re-started at post-JCPOA eraThe director of Tamin Niroo Company stated to MANA correspondent that in the light of using well-educated and skilled Iranian personnel as well as Shipping Senior Management Policies to Iranianize the staff, 97 students were admitted for studying in sailing major.
Captain Reza Aghaee further remarked: following the commencement of nuclear program negotiations, the necessary measures for absorbing Iranian personnel for working on the deck had been taken. Finally, he added, absorbing students in sailing major was commenced.
The director of Tamin Niroo Company asserted: while studying in the college, students will be regarded as they have served their compulsory military service years as well. these students, he continued, are exempted from military service due to their 10-years commitment to the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line (IRISL).
After accomplishing the necessary procedures, other 30 students will be added for studying in sailing major in the next future.
According to Aghaee, with the intense enforcement of the sanctions in the recent years, the number of sailors in the ships had been decreased, but with the execution of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the relaxation of unjust sanctions against Iran, utilizing well-educated and skilled sailors in IRISL HR put in the Agenda.
