With the Lifting of the Sanctions, Imports and Exports to and from Iran will be Done Directly
The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) announced that with the lifting of the sanctions, all the shipping lines in Eastern Asia, North China, Europe, Africa, and Persian Gulf regions will be at the disposal Iranian merchants as well as international companies for the purpose of importing and exporting Iranian goods. This matter will be a paramount and fundamental transformation in the economy of our country.
In an interview with Payesh TV show on IRIB, Dr. Mohammad Saeedi referred to the lifting of the sanctions and remarked that IRISL will expand its direct lines from Persian Gulf to East Asia and North China, and on the other hand, it will resume the Persian Gulf-Europe line which was terminated at the sanctions era, MANA reported. 
In the light of this, he further stated, two thirds of the goods that have been imported from UAE up until now will be carried to Iranian ports directly from Persian Gulf to Eastern Asian ever since the sanctions get lifted. On the other hand, the ports and maritime organization‘s plans to expand and develop the terminals and port installations will enable us to import and export a noticeable size of goods to and from Iran directly in the upcoming years. 
In addition, the chairman of the board at IRISL pointed out that Iran will be a major exporters of petrochemical material in the future. With the lifting of the sanctions, he added, there will be no need and no room for go-betweens, and Iran could export its products to European and East Asia countries directly and with no limitation. In the end, Dr. Saeedi asserted that when sanctions get lifted, all the shipping lines in Eastern Asia, North China, Europe, Africa, and Persian Gulf regions will be at the disposal Iranian merchants as well as international companies for the purpose of importing and exporting Iranian goods.
