Hoegh in FSRU Pact with Qatar’s Nakilat
Norwegian and Qatari vessel owners team up to work on possible future floater projects.
Norway’s Hoegh LNG has struck a deal with Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) that could see the companies partner up in the floating storage and regasification unit market, MANA correspondent reported.
Oslo-listed Hoegh and Qatar’s national liquefied natural gas shipping player Nakilat said they signed the memorandum of understanding with on Tuesday.
Nakilat managing director Abdullah al Sulaiti said: "Nakilat views this strategic alliance as a huge stepping stone for further growth.
“This agreement paves the way for greater business," he added.
