THE Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has inked a memorandum of co-operation with the ports and harbours bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism of Japan at the International Symposium on liquefied natural gas bunkering in Yokohama, Japan, to further deepen their ties in the port sector.
The areas of co-operation under the MoC include port planning, port management and technological development in the port sector.
“For the Asian region to develop, it is very important that Japan and Singapore address these common issues in a collaborative manner,” he added.
