A Turkish tanker has been seized by armed men in Libya.

According to MANA, Eleven crew on the 2,800-dwt Haci Telli (built 2006) have been detained in Zuwara, local reports
 say.
Militants are claiming that the tanker’s owner owes them $430,000 from an oil purchase. 
The ship arrived from Tuzla in Turkey six days ago.
The vessel is operated by Transpasifik of Turkey, which has been contacted for clarification.
It was due to head to Malta.
Last month, the 6,697-ceu Eukor car carrier Morning Compass (built 2013) was seized by troops in Libya after it allegedly entered a military zone.
