Export of oil products from Bahonar Port rose

Export of oil products from Bahonar Port, southern Iran, rose 28% in the first 8 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20.

Mohammad Mohseni, director of the Bahonar Ports and Maritime Administration in the southern province of Hormuzgan, said 689,394 tons of non-oil data-x-items as well as 97,825 tons of petroleum products were exported from the port during the period, up 28% year-on-year.
He said petrochemicals, minerals and bitumen made the biggest exported data-x-items from the port. Most of the data-x-items were destine to be exported to Persian Gulf littoral states and the Indian Ocean.
He further said 39,883 tons of non-oil and 47,000 tons of oil products were also transited from the port during the 8 months.
