Wan Hai Buys 10,150 Containers
Taiwan’s Wan Hai Lines has bought 10,150 containers from container manufacturer Singamas at a price of $19.18m.
Taipei-listed Wan Hai announced that the containers include 20-foot size, 40-foot general purpose and 40-foot high-cube containers, MANA correspondent reported.
The average price of each box works out to around $1,890.
The 10,150 boxes are manufactured at five Singamas factories located in China – Tianjin, Qingdao, Ningbo, Qidong and Xiamen.
