Striking Performance of Khorramshahr port
The director of Khorramshahr Ports and Maritime Organization stated: in the first nine months of this year, Khorramshahr port has seen a 23-percent growth in the embarkation and disembarkation operations.
Adel Adris remarked: in the first nine months of this year, 47,175 TEU containers have been embarked and disembarked in this port.
Referring to the embarkation and disembarkation of 673,824 tons of goods in this mentioned period, he added: 253,142 tons of goods have been exported to Kuwait.
Making a reference to the establishment of a container terminal as the most paramount investment project in Khorramshahr port, Adris added: this terminal with be built with credit fund of 860 billion Rials and within 25 months by private sector.
This official figure also proposed: in the first nine months of this year, 19 vessels have been salvaged from ARVAND’s international waterway.
