Output Increase Gives Way to National Strength in OPEC
"Iran has a power which will enable it to participate and have bargaining power in the OPEC session, becoming successful in the international talks alike the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA); The output increase will help national strength in the OPEC session," President Rouhani told a group of people.
He said the more is Iran's bargaining power in the world and international talks, the more its national power will be. "In absence of oil production, no one will listen to us and our bargaining power will not be effective."
"At a time when the country's oil industry workers, engineers and officials are capable of increasing oil production within 10 months after implementation of the JCPOA, let's say since January 17, 2016, which was the day of mourning for the Zionist regime and one of the states of the region."
He said Iran's exports hence increased to 2.3 million barrels from one million barrels. "This means power in the sector and when we enjoy such a power, we can bargain in the OPEC session and be successful in the international talks alike the JCPOA."
