Iran to Participate in German Maritime Trade Fair
The Technological Exchange and International Affairs Department at Presidential Office says Iran will set up a maritime pavilion at German Maritime Trade Fair of SMM in Hamburg, the leading international maritime trade fair.
According to MANA, Iran's Marine Technology and Knowledge-Based Industries has reportedly expressed support for the holding of the country’s pavilion there.The leading international maritime trade fair will host more than 50 thousands visitors and 2100 participants from 67 countries across the world providing a great platform for building new relationships and getting to know each other.
Held from 6 to 9 September 2016, SMM will highlight Green Propulsion— alternative, low-emission propulsion technologies such as LNG, methanol, hybrid and dual-fuel— and fuel cell systems, along with big data and digitalization.
The event will set the stage for the formation of new international business contacts, providing opportunities for fair participants to become acquainted with Iranian companies and potential customers.
SMM is the maritime sector’s most important platform for face-to-face networking and closing business deals.
Iranian delegation including 50 experts of naval forces from 22 navy companies and organizations are being sent to the fair to take advantage of developing collaborative technological and industrial ties with foreign companies present at the fair
