Norwegian and England Classification Societies Resume their Activities in Iran
A Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation was signed between Iran Ports and Maritime Organization and reliable Norwegian and England Classification Societies.
In a separate ceremony, a cooperation agreement was signed between Iran Ports and Maritime Organization and English LR and Norway DNV-GL classification societies, MANA reported.
Based on this report, thanks to the implementation of JCPOA and lifting the sanctions, foreign classification societies which are the member of International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) demanded to resume their activities in Iran’s maritime market for offering Security and Technical services to vessels while flying Iran's three-colored flag.
