DSME clinches VLCC pair order from BW Group
SOUTH Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering has secured an order to construct two very large crude carriers worth around Won200bn ($180.6m) for BW Group.
According to MANA,A DSME official noted that the 318,000 dwt VLCCs are scheduled to be delivered in 2018.
DSME also noted another contract revision with an Asian ship owner in which one of a pair of LNG carriers will be converted into a floating storage regasification unit.
