CMA CGM enhances Asia-north European connections
According to MANA, CMA CGM has revealed a number of changes on its Ocean Three affiliated services connecting northern Europe with Asia, as it and the alliance gears up for the trade’s peak season.
The French carrier will call at the UAE’s Jebel Ali in Dubai on its FAL 1 service and make an additional stopover in Hong Kong as part of a revised FAL23 port rotation from the start of June, while for the latter it has also announced plans to make the return journey to Asia via the Cape of Good Hope.
As part of the upgrades, CMA CGM, which has still to publish its financial result for the first quarter, has also confirmed the reintroduction of its FAL7 loop. The new service will embark from Rotterdam on June 8, offering a direct service between China and northern Europe and will include calls at the Polish port of Gdansk and Sweden’s Gothenburg.
