Exports Increased from Bahonar Port

The director of Shahid Bahonar Ports and Maritime Organization announced the embarkation and disembarkation of over 2.000,000 tons of petroleum and non-petroleum goods in the course of the past year.

Exports  Increased from Bahonar Port  According to MANA, Mohammad Mohseni offered a report on the performance of Shahid Bahonar Ports and Maritime Organization in 2015 and stated: during the mentioned period, Shahid Bahonar Port experienced the export of 1,535,918 tons of non-petroleum goods and 488,438 tons of petroleum goods, which this figure highlights a 31-percent ascent in the export of petroleum goods in comparison with the same period in 2014.
Moreover, the statistics indicated that a 218-percent increase has been recorded in the export of non- petroleum goods.
This official figure added: chemical materials, agriculture, mineral materials, tar, fruit, protein products, ironware,and construction materials constitute the export goods from this port to Persian Gulf Countries and Countries of India Ocean.
Mohammad Mohseni asserted: in the course of the past year,614 TEU refrigerated container has been exported to United Arab Emirates.
The director of Shahid Bahonar Ports and Maritime Organization continued: this port witnessed the docking of 3675 vessels in 2015, which indicates a 9-percent rise in this sector.
In the end, he remarked: Shahid Bahonar Port has exported 392,363 live animals to Oman.
