India's Oil and Natural Gas Secretary Visits Chabahar Free Zone

The director and the chairman of the board at Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial zone announced that India's Oil and Natural Gas Secretary will pay a visit to this region early next week to investigate the grounds for investment in petrochemistry sector. He will be accompanied by an economic and business delegation.

This visit will take place by the official invitation of Bijan Zanganeh (Iranian Oil Secretary), Hamed Ali Mobaraki stated to MANA reported. Secretary Zanganeh had invited an economic and business delegation as well as some private sector activists from India to visit Iran for enhancing the mutual collaborations between the two countries.
Other than paying a visit to Chabahar Free Zone and the petrochemical complex in the region, Mobarak further stated, the Indian economic and business delegation will negotiation with Iranian authorities regarding investment on petrochemical projects and the production of chemical fertilizers.
Indian economic and business delegation's visit to Chabahar region will encompass various plans such as visiting the petrochemical site, the development plan of Shahid Beheshti and Shahid Kalantari Ports, sitting with the director and the chairman of the board at Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone, and meeting Sistan-Baluchestan Province's director of ports and shipping.
