Khazar Sea Shipping Plans AnnouncedAliakbar Ghonji remarked to MANA reporter that the Khazar Sea Shipping plans constitute 14 of the 23 vessels owned by the company, and this fleet will be fully allocated to the transportation of Iranian producers and exporters. This, he stressed, will bring an easy access to Caspian Sea countries for Iranian exporters.
He further stated that the vessels will set off from Anzali, Astara, Nowshahr, and Amirabad Ports and will travel to destinations such as Aktau, Astarakhan, Makhachkala, Baku, and Torkamanbashi Ports.

Pointing out that the source and destination ports as well as the time schedules of the shipping lines would be subject to change depending on the weather and sea conditions, the director of the Khazar Sea Shipping asserted that the mentioned variations in time could range up to 5 days within the announced dates. Besides, he emphasized that the proper ship for embarking the cargo will be selected only if the to-be-transported cargo reaches a minimum of 2 thousand tons. Ghonji also stressed that transportation order must be placed and the contract must be signed at least 10 days prior to the embarking.
Finally, he stated that 9 other ships of this company have been allocated to CIS countries for free travels in North–South Transport Corridor
