In a meeting with the investors, Mohammad Mehdi Banchari announced of establishing Negin port complex in Bushehr and stated: with launching Bushehr Port’s development plan in Nagin port complex ,the capacity of embarkation and disembarkation in this port would rise to 15 million tons from 7 million tons.
Stating that Negin Island is 40 hectares vast, he added: Bushehr Negin Island connected to Khalij-E-Fars Highway via a 3-kilometer route, which the area of this island is potential to increase to 400 hectares.
The president of Bushehr Province Maritime and Port ‘s organization remarked: Bushehr Port’s development plan includes three various sectors, which 6000 Billion Rials will be invested in the execution of this projects.
Banchari continued: Bushehr Port ‘s development plan constitutes Container Terminal, Bulk Liquid Terminal, and Multi-Purpose Terminal, which would be constructed in Negin Island.
He continued: the Container Terminal which is supposed to be constructed in Negin Island, enjoys the capacity of 600.000 TEU container and 600 meter length ,it is also speculated to be ready up to 30 months.
Mohammad Mehdi Banchari further remarked: Bulk Liquid Terminal includes 180,000 meter- cubic storage ,it enjoys the capacity of 1 million tons which is predicted to be ready up to 24 months.
In the end,The president of Bushehr Province Maritime and Port ‘s organization added: Multi-Purpose Terminal is also to be constructed with the capacity of 1 million tons in Negin Island which constitutes 30,000 meter cubic silo,20.000 meter- cubic warehouse,it is worth noting that a period of 30 months has been considered for its construction
