Singapore Container Volumes Rise 7.5% in April
Singapore has handled higher container throughput in April compared to the year-ago volume, according to statistics released by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

The port of Singapore recorded throughput of 2.72m teu last month, an increase of 7.5% compared to the volume of 2.53m teu in April last year, data from MPA showed, reported by MANA correspondent.
In the first four months of this year, Singapore port moved a total throughput of 10.33m teu, a rise of 4.1% compared to 9.92m teu in the same period of last year.
